This year’s Carnegie Hall Gala was an incredible occasion – for the first time, the event was held on the famed building’s rooftop in both a custom tent designed for the Weill Terrace, and the renovated Terrace room.
To showcase this thrilling moment, our team highlighted the institution itself. Etched brass luminary centerpieces were miniatures of the Carnegie Hall building.
Suspended over the dining tables in the grand tent, a giant mobile of abstract musical notes danced elegantly.
Red dahlias lined the long Artist’s Table and we drew an oversized version of the building’s façade with black painters tape on the walls of the Terrace Room. The forced perspective made the room feel taller and the painters tape was a great trick that did not ruin the walls.
It was so moving to see this beautiful new rooftop space filled with the institution’s many supporters.
Congratulations to our friends at Carnegie Hall for a great success!!
