Recently I bought the Italian designer’s new book (which I highly recommend), and have been in love with what she does ever since.
To some degree, Paola and I have a similar aesthetic. The common thread might be a graphic sense of humor and a comfort zone in an Alice in Wonderland shift in scale. She creates spaces – living and exhibition, and an array of objects that are both stunningly beautiful and quirky clever, and I really love her sense of color.
Often I am inspired by designers whose work I learn from and appreciate, but I don’t necessarily want to live in their worlds. In this case, I would be more than delighted to move right in. Sign me up.
I hope you enjoy the eye candy below as much as I do. The book makes a great holiday gift. It’s on my list for many.
