I recently received the new book LANDSCAPES IN LANDSCAPES by Piet Oudolf as a gift, and I simply love it.
The author and landscape designer is the magician that designed the natural aspects of The High Line in New York City. The architecture firm of Diller Scofidio + Renfro is mostly publicly linked to the design of the High Line but that game changer of a park is nothing without the breathtaking natural displays conceived by Mr. Oudlof. His book is gorgeous and showcases 23 of his most well known projects around the world. His work reminds me of that old adage: Chaos must be so carefully orchestrated. Check out the images below from the book.
If you are a gardening and plant lover, add this volume to your collection. It’s special, and the book is beautifully designed.
Oh, how perfectly dreamy, right?!
