Yesterday I was working with the Melissa, Ben, and Corrie, amazing members of our design team, and I spotted this glorious poster by Alexander Girard on Melissa’s computer screen.
Girard’s always been one of my biggest inspirations, and the book ALEXANDER GIRARD DESIGNS FOR HERMAN MILLER was one of the very first design books that I ever bought and still the one that I look at most.
While mostly known for his textiles, his graphics have not been in the front of my mind lately, but right now, this poster is so perfect to me. Happy, optimistic and to the point. That is going to be my theme for the rest of the week:
