I’m excited to introduce Anjelica Triola, a key member of our Project Management team at David Stark Design, and she’s taking the reins on today’s post. Heeeeeeeere’s Anjelica!

Justin Richel is a talented illustrator whose work covers a broad range of topics. From cleverly revised portraits of historical figures to awkwardly stacked menageries and landscaped dessert buffets, Richel manages to put a playful spin on some already interesting subjects.
While these colorful prints are easy enough to enjoy, they aren’t what REALLY caught my eye from Justin’s portfolio. His series of interactive “talking paintings” are truly the show stopper-- unique and fun with a hint of ventroloquist-inspired kitsch. Simple, yes, ridiculous, also yes. And yet I can’t help but wish I owned a huge collection of these jaw-dropping, eye-shifting characters!

Anjelica
I love the ventriloquist paintings! Great recommendations for a new art crush, Anjelica!
