Dear Buddies,
This just in ... due to the overwhelming response to THE (purely paper) FLOWER SHOPPE, west elm has decided to keep this jewel box open through the end of the day on Sunday. We're excited that there will be two more days to check out this floral fantasy!

For the first time, we are making our own pop-up store and hope you can check it out! We’ve had so many requests for the groovy things that we create for parties, we thought it would be fun to create a shop where anyone could take a little something cool home. We are excited to hear what you think!

Above: A rendering of our free standing FLOWER SHOPPE within the west elm store on Broadway and 62nd Street. Come see it in real life!
The (purely paper) FLOWER SHOPPE is open May 13 and 14 only at west elm, 1870 Broadway at 62nd
11:00am - 8:00pm
Hope to see you there!

I'll be there for sure! I'm in NYC for 6 weeks, and am just loving all the amazing opportunities (pop-portunities?) that keep turning up.

Mr. Stark I find you amazing! I have actually managed to stumble across you through the beginning of my wedding planning, but I find your work exceptional and touching in a way! Particularly with the new paper flower shop you recently unveiled (wish I could have seen it, but Minneapolis to NY is a long drive, haha)! I have always loved building things out of paper, I even remember my mom getting a bit exasperated with me when she would find bits of paper all over the floor! I've carried that love into adulthood and now particularly love paper-cutting. I always felt so silly as an adult sitting at a table with paper, glue, scissors, and paint. It's nice and inspiring to see a true artist appreciate the same thing! I am not even close to a David Stark, but you still inspire me! Though I doubt I'll ever reach the economic class that get's to experience your work in person, it is still just as nice to see it all through the web! Thanks for your creativity and imagination!
