Danielle wrote in with her favorite big stuff in response to my posting of my favorite giant things  -- thanks, Danielle!

I love what you sent too!  Who can argue with The Sultan’s Elephant (below) which was part of an incredible public art/performance by Royal Deluxe.

 

Or ... the stage at Austrian Bregenzer Festspiele’s 1999 production of Verdi’ s opera “A Masked Ball” where the floating stage was actually a giant book being read by a skeleton.  So COOL! 

 

 

 

Chris sent in these cool giant fork sculpture photos by Jean-Pierre Zaugg and Georges Favre, stuck into Lake Leman in front of the Alimentarium (the Food Museum) in Vevey, Switzerland.  (Below)
